The prospects of the Swedish national handball team ahead of the 2020 World Cup in Egypt were bleak. Due to injuries and covid the team’s roster consisted mainly of young players without championship experience. But they won. And they won again. Against all odds they eventually made it to the finals.
The general explanation to this unlikely result came down to two words; Team sprit. But as the film shows it was much more complicated than those two words.
